Fishing & housing base Rosenlund
 We offer to you accommodation at the guest house Rosenlund on the island Sande.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable double and triple rooms with showers. The floor in the shower room is equipped with heating system. You will find in every room: a TV-set with satellite TV (over 200 channels), a refrigerator, an electric kitchen-range, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a coffee machine. Also there is a big deep-freezing chamber, where you can preserve your caught fish and then take it home in order to "boast" and to treat your friends. If you're a businesman and/or just want to stay in touch with the big world, to read and send your e-mail or navigate on the web, you will have no problem with that either: all rooms belong to the zone of the wireless Wi-Fi connection.
Location. Our centre is located at the Western coast of Norway, on the island of Sande (www.sandsoy.no), right at the half-way from Bergen to Trondheim. The proximity to the city of Ålesund allows to combine the fishing with the visiting of the city, famous for its outstanding art nouveau architecture, as well as its picturesque environs (including the fantastic Geirangenfjord, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List).
Only 3 km away from the centre of Ålesund, just next to the Atlantic ocean shore, you can find Atlanterhavsparken (Atlantic Ocean Park), one of the largest saltwater-aquariums in northern Europe. Here you will find an architectural gem, integrated into the coastal nature between ocean and land, officially opened by the Norwegian King and Queen in 1998. Atlanterhavsparken is situated in the midst of a scenic area with hiking paths, monuments, fishing grounds, and a beach where you can go swimming or scuba-diving. The area also has a wonderful view of the surrounding islands and vast ocean!

Our programme includes:
- Fishing in the fjord from a motor boat. Thanks to the base location just next to the water, it is possible to do coast fishing throghout the whole day.
- At one of the days - trip to the river at the town Aheim (40 min. drive from the base) for river fishing. The transportation there and back is organised by our agency and included in the package price. Also we acquire a river fisher permit (licence) for you.
- There is a brazier and a fish smoking device at our base. After the fishing, the catch is being cut on a special filleting table. Experienced fillet-maker will show you one of fillet-making modes.
- Another advantage of our base is that its location allows to fish in the open sea. There are excellent possibilities for underwater hunting.
- If desired (for extra fee): visiting the city of Ålesund, the Atlantic Sea Park and world-famous fjords.
- In the free time you can also leave your name in the history of the island, climbing a mountain next to the base. On its top, in a special capsule, there is a journal, where every successful climber may inscribe his name. In the end of the year is delivered to the local municipality, where it is kept for long years.
Our package price includes rental of elementary fishing-tackles and rods. To professional fishers we advise to bring along their own equipment. Unfortunately, not always the level of leased devices (rod, reel, fishing-line) meet expectations of experienced fishermnen.
Price of the full package (accommodation in the guest-house for 5 nights; rental of motor-boats for fishing in the fjord and the sea; permit for river fishing; transportation by a micro-bus from the airport to the base and back, as well as from the base to the river Aheim and back; ferry tickets between the mainland and islands): 190 EUR per person
Price of accommodation (excluding extra services): 35 EUR per person per night
